What's this?
Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

we all must stick together and do whatever it takes to fight this evil monster of child porn. You must be doing something disgusting yourself if you don't want your email checked -- not read -- just checked. Wake up everyone...use whatever amendment you want to let this go on, and as we see, things get worse and worse and our children suffer at our selfishness. We need to begin to act to stop this, and pray every single day, that it stops!!!

While we all agree that child porn is a scurge and needs to be stopped, the methods described in this article will not be effective. What makes anybody think that someone low enough to be involved in child porn will hesitate to lie about their E-Mail address.

The hash method will not work either as it is as easy to change the hash value of a file as it is to rename it. If you even change one pixel of a image the hash changes.

I do applaud companies for stepping up to the plate and making an attempt. We just need to find more effective methods.
